I met Jeff in the 4th grade and we always had a great connection and friendship. We had ups and downs, but I always knew he had a great heart and I loved him very much. I will miss him greatly and always think of the amazing times we spent hanging out and writing music, going to factory shoals, and the kindness his family showed me when I needed help. Jeff was a free spirit who was never afraid to try something new or to share how he felt about something. I will miss that look he got when I knew he thought he had the next great idea, or a way to make a million. He was goofy, energetic, daring, compassionate, and one of the best friends I will ever have. I know right now he’s looking at Jesus and saying, “Hey God, check out this song I wrote!” Rest In Peace my friend...
