Obituary of Charles Donald "Don" Haren Jr.
Mr. Charles Donald “Don” Haren Jr., age 67, of Locust Grove, GA passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born Saturday, November 18, 1950 to the late Charles Donald Haren Sr. and the late Mary Griffin Haren in Copper Hill, TN. Mr. Haren attended Towaliga Baptist Church. He was a self- employed contractor for Haren Maintenance and Repair, LLC. He enjoyed taking family vacations, building things and helping his family. He was preceded in death by grandaughters, Abbie Hesting and Rilee Ann Bates.
Mr. Haren is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly Haren; daughters and sons- in- law, Jenifer and Todd Jamerson, Carrie and Gary Bates, Kathy and Randy Hesting; grandchildren, Christy Adams, Megan Adams, Trey Adams, Sierra Bates, Kelsey Bates, Ryann Bates, Charley Hesting, Amanda Crutcher, Aaron Jamerson; great- grandchildren, Taylor Chastain and Kendrick Jamerson; sisters, Becky Bell, Lola Lewis, Kathy Wilson and Donna Kingston; brothers, Robert Haren, Joe Haren, Jeffrey Haren and Rick Haren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mr. Don Haren will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM. at Towaliga Baptist Church with Reverend Jay Sanders and Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 PM. until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Towaliga Baptist Church to help feed the hungry.
