Obituary of Charles Warren Cannon
Mr. Charles W. Cannon, age 79, of Jackson, GA passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Sacred Journey Hospice. He was born Monday, December 11, 1939, in Saltville, VA, son of the late George H. Cannon and the late Lillian Mae Lee Cannon. He was preceded in death by brother, Richard Cannon. Mr. Cannon retired from Ford Motor Company with 30 years of service. He enjoyed deer hunting, sports and he coached little league baseball in Riverdale and Jackson. Mr. Cannon was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeanette Cannon; sons, Ricky Allen Cannon, Brad Warren Cannon (Rachel); grandchildren and their spouses, Brittany and Chad Dix, Dawn and Cameron Ayres, Ashley Cannon (Dalton), Jordan and Chandler Thompson, Jacob and Morgan Cannon; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Cannon (Juanita), Darrell Cannon (Brenda); sister-in-law, Winnie Cannon; two nieces and six nephews; and his faithful dog, Bubba.
