Obituary of Edith Christopher

Mrs. Edith H. Christopher, age 82, of Forsyth, GA, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Monroe County Hospital. She was born July 22, 1928 in Blackey, KY to the late Joseph and Flora Wooten Holliman. Mrs. Christopher was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, and loved her family. Miss Edith is survived by 2 daughters, Marqueitta Conner, of Winchester, KY, and Teresa Lynn Williams, of Jonesboro; 6 sons, Curtis Breeding, of Lexington, KY, Charlie Bill Breeding, of Ervine, KY, Johnny Breeding, of Forsyth, Ronnie Breeding, of Winchester, KY, Frankie Breeding, of Forsyth, Jimmy Breeding, of McDonough; a sister, Darkus Pearl Arnold, of IN; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Christopher; daughter, Bonita Breeding; 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Christopher will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev Arthur Jett officiating. Interment will be at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday evening.
