I'm not sure why it wasn't important to notify family of the passing of my granddaddy and include family especially his other son in the planning of his funeral but with that being said there was a couple of mistakes in the obituary that need to be corrected.
1 My granddaddy's daughter, my mother her name was, is Judy Mauldin
2 My granddaddy's mother, her name was Lucy Vinson Meers. She had been remarried for many years.
And now to remember my granddaddy- He was a good man. I have very fond memories of my childhood. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents growing up. He loved his family. I know he is rejoicing today. He is with Jesus, my grandmother and my mama. Rest easy granddaddy. Until we meet again.
