Obituary of Ashley Franklin

Mr. Ashley Keith Franklin, age 36, of Locust Grove, GA died Wednesday, January 12, 2011. He was born February 3, 1974 in Atlanta to Georgia Elizabeth Perkins Franklin and the late Robert Andrew Franklin, III. He loved his family and enjoyed the out doors, old knives, hot rods, and collecting antiques. In addition to his mother, Mr. Franklin is survived by one son, Elijah Franklin, of Stockbridge; one brother, Art Sheppard, of Eatonton; 2 uncles, Jimmy Perkins, of Clarkston, and David Perkins, of Ft. Myers, FL; and several cousins. Memorial services for Mr. Ashley Franklin are incomplete at this time. Sherrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
