To the Bob Ryan Family,
I was sad to learn of Bob's passing. He and Susan were such great friends while Tom and I were residing in Jackson. He always supported me or the community on our projects both in Jackson and Indian Springs. He always had a smile, kind words for everyone, and was so helpful. I know that Butts County will miss him.
Blessings,
Sheri Hudson

I have known and respected Bob since he moved her so many years ago. Bob was a solid leader and a true devout Christian. He was the solid citizen we all wish we were. His many contributions to our community and our lives will be remembered forever. We were all blessed in his presence. He loved his community, his church, his savior, his family and his many friends. We will all cherish his memory and hope to see him again when we cross the river. May God bless his soul and comfort his lovely family.

Rotary’s motto of Service above self certainly fits Bob’s life perfectly. I fondly remember Bob’s leadership in Butts County Parks and Recreation, Rotary, Partner’s for Smart Growth, Jackson United Methodist Church, United Way, and numerous other charitable and civic organizations. When it came time to donate time or money – Bob was at the front of the line. He was a true servant, and friend to many, who will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Bob (Rock) Ryan.

I'm sad to hear of the passing of Bob Ryan. My very first job was at Atlanta South 75 Auto Truck Plaza. Bob Ryan hired me on the spot, and told me to come to work the same night. He was always kind and expected supreme customer service and cleanliness. I was a diesel desk cashier for a few years there and got to work with Kevin Ryan too.
One day, I asked Bob if I could I wash his Corvette (so that I could drive it.) He was very impressed because he wasn't expecting me to wax it.
I still have the card that he gave me when I was nominated for Employee of the Month.
A few years ago, I stopped by the truck stop for breakfast with my classmates and he remembered me.
May he rest in peace.

I am very sorry to learn that Bob has passed away. He was a great person. I knew him through NATSO where we traveled to Washington DC many times and we served on the NATSO board together and we were both TA franchisees. Susan and family, you have my deepest sympathy.
