Mr. Aaron Lavon Sexton, age 82, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home. He was born on Saturday, December 10, 1938 in Clarkesville, GA to the late Aaron B. Sexton and the late Irene West Sexton. In addition to his parents, Lavon is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Sexton, and brother Mr. Bobby Sexton. Lavon and his wife owned Little Mountain Child Care for many years until they retired. He was a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough and was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved to play tennis, work in the yard, and enjoyed gardening.
Lavon is survived by children and their spouses, Mark and Shannon Sexton, Jon and JoAnna Sexton, Phil and Tracy Sexton, Wendy Branegan, Bonnie and Jeff Bergman; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces.
Services for Mr. Lavon Sexton will be announced later.
