Mr. George Aaron Coursey, age 72, of Jenkinsburg, Georgia passed away Monday, January 11, 2021.
Aaron was born on Monday, September 13, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late George Edward Coursey and the late Sarah Helen Stanish Coursey. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gale Coursey. Aaron attended West Fulton High School in Atlanta graduating in 1966. He immediately joined Southern Bell but shortly thereafter, took leave to join the United States Air Force. After he was discharged from the Air Force, Aaron returned to Southern Bell/AT&T and worked as an Electronic Technician until his retirement in August 2007.
For all who knew this wonderful man, he carried in his manner and being the essence of his Savior and Lord Jesus. Aaron loved his wife, Winnie, with a fervent love and cared for her in every way throughout their life together. They will always and ever be one flesh. Aaron and Winnie spent 42 years together that were blessed with joy. The Lord has graciously blessed them during each and every year of their life together.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Winnie Coursey; brothers, John Coursey (Linda) and Perry D. Coursey (Natalie) and sister, Maria Elaine Sudduth (Phillip); nephews, Michael Shane Sudduth (Heather) and Brandon Coursey; niece, Danielle.
A graveside service for Mr. Aaron Coursey will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Jenkinsburg City Cemetery with Minister Paul Zahn officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the The Voice of the Martyrs, 1815 SE Bison Rd., Bartlesville, OK 74006, 800-747-0085, www.persecution.com.
