Mr. Henry Alexander Hensley, age 75, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.
Henry was born on Monday, May 21, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Dewey Wellington Hensley, Sr and the late Ruby Elaine Manning Hensley. Along with his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his great-grandson, Chandler Miller and sister, Sandra Moore. He retired from General Motors after working for over thirty plus years. Henry was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and loved to hunt, fish, and go camping.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ann Camp Hensley; children, Tammy Minyard, Tommy Hensley; grandchildren, Candace Miller, Jamie Minyard, Blake Tomlin, Samantha Foster, Allison Richardson; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Lukas, and Gabriel Miller, Zoey and Scarlett Minyard, Kylie Foster; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dewey (Wimp) and Joanne Hensley, Donald and Betty Hensley, Billy and Nancy Hensley; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Kenneth Boyd; dog, Lilly; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mr. Henry Hensley will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Harvest Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Culpepper officiating. Friends may visit with the family before the service from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the church. Interment will follow at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
