Dear Tony's Family--
Please know his CNN Family adored your son-brother-uncle-cousin. He was such value-added to many teams for so long at the Mother Ship in Atlanta. Beyond being an excellent writer, he was one phenomenal human. His kindness, wit, caring, and love made it easier to and worthwhile to keep crazy and long hours.
I've long explained to folks that CNN and news is a team sport. Viewers only see the anchor on their TV screen, but it's the whole team that makes or breaks the broadcast.
Your Tony/Our Tony was an integral part of making that happen for years.
We will never forget him!
