Mr. James Dennis Kitchens, age 76, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Dennis was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1944 in Jackson, Georgia to the late James Brantley Kitchens and the late Mary Elizabeth Polk Kitchens. Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Rock Springs Church.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gloria Kitchens, children, Leigh Ann Green, and James “Jamie” Dennis Kitchens, Jr., Dusty Atkinson (Leslie); grandchildren, Ricky Smith, Robert Green, Levi Kitchens, Emily Atkinson and Anslie Atkinson; great-grandchildren, Cayden Smith and Kayleigh Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Leanne Kitchens; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mr. James Dennis Kitchens will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 7, 2021 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
