Mrs. Debra Mathis, age 62, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
Debra was born on Thursday, November 20, 1958, in Jackson, Georgia to the late Jamey Roberson and Carolyn Cook. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and at the lake and helped everyone she knew. Debra loved hummingbirds but most of all loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and doggy.
Debra is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jerry Mathis; children, Natalee Mathis, Daniel Mathis; sister, Dale Hayes; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Debra Mathis will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit the family from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
