Happy 80th birthday Grandma. In my dream last night we took you on your grand exit celebration saying goodbye to all of those you brought a smile to each day. Your joy and light will forever brighten my childhood. I love you, I forgive you, and I live you everyday. You were truly one of a kind and so many of us miss your smile, your laughter, and your spirit each day. You have 2 great grandchildren by me now. My daughter you met, and she held your hand during your last days, at only 5 yeats old; You'd love Oak so much... I know you know of him. Anyways, I loved being with you last night in my dreams, you were truly a Queen. Love and Light, Grandma..Love and Light.

She welcomed me into the family and I called her mom for many years. She had energy and a spark about her that brought a lot of joy. I hope you've found peace.

My grandma served as my lighthouse throughout my younger years and I want her to know just how appreciative I am for who she was... Coming off of an airplane time and time again, from a world where you felt as small as a grain of sand, and she would greet me like I was royalty. To her, I was! She would be dressed as every child's dreams come true, either as an M&M handing out candy to those at the airport, to being dressed as a Morel mushroom, to a Clown, to an Easter Bunny, to a Christmas tree....this woman brought joy and laughter and light and love to life!!! I love you Grandma, always have, always will!

Wanda was our Allstate agent and also a great friend. We attended Avon Christian Church together She was always smiling and made you feel good just by being around her. I always loved stories about her mushroom hunting - she loved doing this in the spring in Indiana. I had lost track of her after she retired and am so very sorry to learn of her passing. She was a delightful lady!

I first met Wanda when I worked at Allstate...She was always a hard worker and never met a stranger..We both were line leaders for Indiana. That meant several years top 125 agents out of 15,000 nationwide. We werent in competition with each other...just good friends. We enjoyed traveling with our awards. After Allstate we would visit each other, go to dinner along with my husband.. When she moved to Georgia we kept in touch and ate at Grays when she came to Indiana. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I had been trying to contact her for sometime as I knew it was not like her not to send a Christmas card or call from time to time. Her phone numbers didnt work anymore. She loved her family very much and had a great big heart for them... She loved buying her jewelry and going to Vincents to buy her furs....and dressing up to set a fashion statement. She would say we as women have to work twice as hard as the men and we need to look like a million dollars....Then she would laugh that contagious laugh she had... Wanda loved it when she was able to bring her sister Sharon to her Allstate dinners...I always enjoyed sitting next to her at meetings as we both had an insight to what was being said between the lines...Her famous look with her eyes to relay her real feelings could keep a person in stitches at the wrong time. I send my true condolences to her family.....I have prayed for all of you to have God's peace in each of your lifes..May God Be With You..
