Obituary of Barbara Sue Elmore

Mrs. Barbara Sue Cagle Elmore, age 76, of McDonough, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021.
Barbara was born on Friday, September 1, 1944, in Geary, Oklahoma to the late William A. Cagle and the late Winnie Ruth Pitts Cagle. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Hagadorn. She was a member of Tara Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia. Barbara was a homemaker, hard worker, and very dependable. She loved and supported her family and was a “mom” to everyone.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Bob Elmore; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jeff Moats; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Laura Elmore; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Delouris Bachman and Chris Peters; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Barbara Elmore will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Tara Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Little officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Tara Baptist Church – Youth Department, 10461 Tara Boulevard, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236 or www.tarabaptist.com.
