Obituary of David Michael Lee

David Michael Lee, Sr., of Jackson, GA, died Monday, October 10, 2011. He was born October 8, 1947 in Atlanta, GA to the late Loy Russell and Anna Peek Lee. He was a member, deacon and full-time custodian of Macedonia Baptist Church and a member of the adult choir. He was the former owner of Acme Lock and Key in Atlanta for 36 years. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching his grandchildren playing sports and loved spending time with his family and friends. Mike is survived by his wife, Martha Stovall Lee, of Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Jeff Bibb, of Grayson; son, Michael Lee, Jr., of Loganville; 6 grandchildren, Mikey Lee, III, Austin Bibb, Cory Lee, Justin Lee, Jonathan Lee, and Hannah Bibb; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Wilda Lee, of Temple; special mother-in-law, Edith Stovall, of Jackson; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Clara Stovall, of Abilene, TX, Ronnie and Anne Stovall, of Stockbridge, Clifford and Carole Stovall, of Loganville, Wesley Reese, of Fairburn; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Angie Lee; 2 sisters, Jane Reese and Loy Ann Archilles; 2 brothers, Auby and Charles (Sonny) Lee. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 9:00 PM Wednesday evening.
