Obituary of William Henderson Wall, Jr.

Mr. William Henderson Wall Jr, age 76, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021. William was born on Wednesday, December 5, 1945, in Locust Grove, Georgia to the late William Henderson Wall Sr. and the late Gertrude Ford Wall. Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Horton, Wayne Horton; brother, Tom Wall, sisters, Jean Mincey, Gloria Hobbs, Nancy Fields. He served in the United States Marine Corp and later worked as a tool maker for Ford Motor Company for 30 years. William was a strong conservative that enjoyed following politics and an avid reader. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. William is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cindy Wall; children, Chad and Rebecca Wall, Melissa and Jeff Burkhalter; 8 grandchildren; sister, Pat Singley; beloved dog, Coco; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. William Wall Jr. will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tom Darity officiating. Interment to follow at Locust Grove City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
