Mrs. Carla Marie Carter, age 48, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Carla was born on Monday, August 27, 1973, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to James and Donnie Carter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donnie Carter. Carla was a great cook and enjoyed reading and gardening. She had beautiful house plants especially her Christmas cactus. She loved her dog and was a wonderful mother and wife!
Carla is survived by her loving husband, William Jones; daughter, Kasey Jones; siblings, Carol Dooley, Chuck Carter; nephews, Joshua Harmon, Trent Dooley, Ian Dooley; aunts, Diane Regan, Linda Severino; cousins, Kelly Dover Gragg, Kat “Spanky” Gleason; mother-in-law, Evelyn Griffin; father-in-law, John Johnson; several, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There are no formal services at this time. A private family visitation will be held on Sunday.
