Obituary of Janie Grant English

Mrs. Janie Grant English, age 75, of Barnesville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
She was born on Thursday, November 28, 1946, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Julius Grant and the late Evelyn Hubbard Nazli. Janie was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Howard English. She was a member of Rock Springs Church. She played the piano her entire life, she enjoyed visiting Tybee Island, and she loved her grandchildren.
Janie is survived by children and their spouses, Cheryl and Hollis Clark, Rob and Melody English; grandchildren, Chris and Nina English, Matthew English, Thomas English, Lee Jeffries, Holly and Tony Brown, Raygan Clark, Chase Clark, Laney Higgins, Clark Moxon, and Abby Hernandez.
A funeral service for Mrs. Janie English will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
