Dear Tiffany and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart aches for you. I know there are no words to take the pain and loss away but please find comfort in the hugs and prayers sent your way. Never really got to know Wes but from the video he was a great guy and he married you, one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever known! Love to you all,
Ann Greer

Q: How did you meet Wesley?
A: I met Mr. Wes at Georgia Baptist Chidrens Home where I worked with him for over two years. He was always smiling when he came in to work and I never knew him to speak badly of anyone. I can honestly say that he will be truly missed by the children as well as the staff. My sincerest condolences go out to his family (whom he loved dearly) and I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Judy and Ed and all of the family. I am so sorry for your loss. The Psalm of David is the most comforting way of sending my condolence. I can't even imagine what you are feeling right now. Just know that you are in my prayers. Love, PeeWee
23rd Psalm
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the]still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will [d]dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Wesley?
A: I have worked with Wes at Ga Baptist for the past few years, and I will truly miss being able to talk to him about anything. Wes was a great listener and he always had great advice! He was patient and calm, and I learned a lot from him. He had many great qualities, but I think my favorite was his willingness to offer help to all of us who worked with him, and always lending an ear when we needed to talk. It was very obvious how much Wes loved his family, and even though I haven't met any of you, I almost feel that I have because of how highly he spoke of you all. I will keep you in my prayers.

Wes Hagwood was my first and dearest friend throughout our childhood. He was a brother to me and my two brothers. It’s like that when you grow up two houses away. We were the boys from Bruce Street. After high school people expand their horizons and sometimes lose touch. My fondest memory of Wes as an adult was about 11 years ago when I was teaching at Putnam County Middle School and Wes had come over to a parent meeting to check on one of the kids he oversaw with his job in Social Work. I taught the child so was in on the meeting. Wes and I both sat down not realizing the other was there as we hadn’t seen each other in over 10 years. I just remember the dismay on the other teachers faces when we both saw each other and jumped up to race to a big bear hug like two kids because in that moment that’s what we were. We had both been transported back in time to the purest joy a person can find, childhood friendship!! Wes Hagwood will always be my first real and true friend and for that I am forever grateful. The Jones boys, Shane, Mark and Ryan will always cherish the memories along with our parents Mike and Debra!!! Memory shared by Mark Jones

To Wes’s family I offer my deepest condolences. I never met you all but I went to school with Wesley and played baseball with him growing up. Wesley was a very good person as a kid and all throughout school. I have a lot of memories of both him and his dad.
Once my dearest condolences to you all
