It was my pleasure to know Ms. Bettie at Great Oaks Senior Living. I was the administrative assistant during her stay and she was a joy to know. She helped me daily with mail and various assignments she chose to undertake. She loved to sing and participate in activities as well as making new residents feel welcome. Her family was very special to her, always seeing her needs were met. I pray God’s grace brings peace to them. She’s secure and loved in her final home. Susan Evans

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Miss Bettie when she lived at Great Oaks Senior Living in Monroe, Georgia for over 8 years. She was a most intelligent lady, who was always willing to teach others, and serve in any capacity she could. Her heart was always that of service to others and The Lord. We looked forward to her annual calls back to Great Oaks checking up on us and letting us know how she was doing. She will be forever remembered at Great Oaks and by all who had pleasure of knowing her. Rest peaceful sweet lady!

Nancy and Steve....Your mom was such a precious lady. She was a real influence on us in our years at Ash Street. Betty loved missions and passed that love along to us and many others. To know that she and Alvin are together again makes us smile. God comfort you cause you KNOW where she is. Noel and Verie

Betty and Alvin O’Neal and their children meant so much to me and my family during the years my Dad, Roland Reams, was Minister of Music at Ash Street Baptist Church and for years beyond. I am so sad to hear of her passing and will be praying for Nancy and Steve in their time of bereavement ahead.

Betty was a wonderful lady in every aspect. Her smile would light up the darkest room you could even imagine. Always full of energy and wisdom. Our prayers go out to Nancy and Steve. May God wrap His arms around them and give them peace.

Ms Bettie will be missed. I looked forward to, each night I worked, as I would tap on her door I'd say "knock knock!" only to hear the sweetest & softest "knock knock!!" come back to me. We had our little conversations and a few giggles then when I had to go check on the others she would say "Don't forget your peppermint!". I'm so grateful to have been given the time I had to be one of her caregivers. Nancy, Steve & families, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. Ms. Bettie, Fly high my friend.

Aunt Bettie was such a caring person. Mark and I loved to hear her sing. When she called us on the telephone, she would sing a hymn in her clear voice and she knew all the words. She would also share Bible verses and prayers with us. She was faithful to do the Lord’s work. It took a lot of courage and preparation, and dedication, to go to the Ukraine but she trusted in God and did fine. I’ll miss her sweet voice and her words of encouragement and love. I’m praying for her family. Janice Browning
