Obituary of Joan Marie Robinson

Ms. Joan Marie Beville Robinson, age 88, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Joan was born on Tuesday, July 23, 1935, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Millard Henery Beville and the late Evelyn Elizabeth Johnson Beville. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Robinson, and sister, Nora Brown. Joan was a member of Mt Zion Methodist Church of Hapeville. She was artistic and very athletic in her early years. Joan had a big heart and was a “people person”. She loved to tell stories, make people laugh, and help people. 

Joan is survived by her children and spouses, Maria and Randy Wynn, Peggy and Thomas Jankowski, John Robinson Jr and Blair Colby; grandchildren, Nick and Ashley Fordham, Justin and Lindsay Wynn, Brittany and Taylor McKneely, Leslie and Christian Willis; great-grandchildren, Alayna, Kimber, Easton, Carter, Knox, Nash, Casen, Ashlyn, and Nolan; brother and sister-in-law, Fulton and Lynn Beville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services for Ms. Joan Robinson will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Taylor McKneely officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
