Anthony, Amanda, Barry and family,
What a dear one Pam was! She smiled easily and her eyes sparkled brightly. She .may have been petite but she always stood tall in my eyes. (Even as I remember the love of her life, James, lifting her up to equali his tall stature, to give his bride a first kiss as a married couple as the minister said, You may kiss your bride ) I was thinking of Pam the morning before she passed away. It was a cold morning and as I drove to work my windshield fogged up. I chuckled. It reminded me of a childhood memory when Uncle Bud and Aunt Mary had bought a new car. They came to MaPat's home on Georgia Avenue in Winder. My family was there visiting. They showed us their new car. Pam and Barry were there. As they did, Pam chimed in, "It has a Defog!" as she pointed to the sliding control. I thought two things: 1.) this must be a really nice car because it has a defog and 2.) What Is a Defog?. It was a simpler time back then. As I drove to work, I turned on my "defog" and thought about my dear cousin.
I'm sorry she is no longer with us but so happy she is with Christ and our Heavenly Father.
Until you reunite with her one eventual day, my sympathy and prayers.
Scott Patrick
