Obituary of Darrel Lee Kimball
Mr. Darrel Lee Kimball, age 71, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
Darrel was born Friday, August 15, 1952, in Milbank, South Dakota to the late James Bertine Kimball and the late June Edith Kimball. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Moe Kimball. He worked as the District Manager for the Marietta Daily Journal and was a cattle rancher, horseman, and the heeler in team roping. He is an eternal cowboy and poet. Darrel was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Family was the center of his universe.
Darrel is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debbie Kimball; children and spouses, Katie and Barry Flanagan, Amanda McCann, Adam and Kelly Kimball; grandchildren, Kieren McCann, Paden Flanagan, Ian McCann, Heath Flanagan, Emma Kimball, Ayla Pounds, Edin McAllister; sisters and brother-in-law, Rosie Delp, Linda and Chris Mullet; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Darrel Kimball will take place Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the family home.
