My condolence to the family and friends. Two scriptures that I find comforting are John 5: 25 which states that the time is coming when the dead will hear Jesus voice and live again and John 5: 28 which states that the hour is coming when those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out.

So sorry to hear this news. My condolences to the family. I am trying to connect to my Lee ancestors. I was born in Coleman, Texas 1941 to Leonard and Mabel Ellis Lee. My grand father was Silas Lee. My Dad had two brothers and one sister: Frank, Marshall and Stella. I understand there is a "Lee" book. Is there anyone who would be willing to share theirs long enough for me to make a copy? Would LOVE to connect with my kin! I live in California.

I well remember cousin Roland's making my trip to GA for the Revolutionary War headstone service we held at the Macedonia Baptist Church in 1997 more pleasant by taking me to supper after that was over. He knew I had traveled there alone from Texas and that was kind of him to care that I didn't eat alone that evening. He was an anchor to so many of us who sought information about our Lee heritage there in Georgia and will be sorely missed by those of us who got to know him. Rest in peace, Roland and may God bless your family as they walk through this valley without you ~ help them take solace that they will see you again on the other side.
Kindest regards,
Rachel
