Obituary of Katherine Delores Williams
Mrs. Katherine “Kathy” Delores Harrell Williams, age 62, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Kathy was born Sunday, September 17, 1961, in Plant City, Florida to the late Samuel Marvin Harrell, Sr. and the late Carolyn Lee Reynolds Harrell. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Marvin Harrell, Jr., and grandson, Hunter Williams; great-granddaughter, Kehlani Reeves. Kathy enjoyed diamond art, quilting and sewing. Some of her favorite places to visit were Helen, Georgia and the Great Smokey Mountains.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Eddie Williams; children and spouses, Virginia Dial (Jeremy), Marcus Williams (Tasha), Curtis and Heather Williams, Christy Williams (Carson), April Griffith (Tyler); grandchildren, Adam Tarpley, Wayne Williams, Elaine Williams, Madysen Johnson, Erik Dial, Kyle Johnson, Logan Johnson, Lily Dial, Scarlett Dial, Asher Carr, Sophia Dial, Damon Williams, Carolyn Williams, Nevaeh Griffith, Dennis Griffith, Conner Williams; great-grandson, Lloyd Williams; brothers and sister-in-law, Terry Harrell, Allen Harrell, Chris and Melinda Harrell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sara and Jimmie Broadnax, Sandy and Floyd Williams; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Williams will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Nathan Dorsey officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
