Obituary of Johnny Lee Kelly

Mr. Johnny Lee Kelly, age 76, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024.

 

Johnny was born Thursday, February 19, 1948, in Ozark, Arkansas to the late Carl William Kelly and the late Clara Mae Kelly. Johnny served in the United States Army and later worked as shop foreman for Toga. He loved dogs and being outdoors. Johnny enjoyed fishing and was an avid camper and hunter. If he wasn’t working, he would pack up his camper and be gone for a week at a time.

 

Johnny is survived by his children and spouses, Teresa and Gillis Lowe, Robert and Lillian Kelly; grandson, Dakota Lowe; great-granddaughter, Percy; brothers, Jerry Kelly, Jimmy Kelly.

 

A memorial service for Mr. Johnny Kelly will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend David Dawson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
