Mr. Aubrey Newton Crocker, age 83, of Jackson, GA, formerly of Warner Robins, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Crocker was born on Sunday, September 21, 1930 in Bernie, Missouri to the late Reverend and Mrs. G. A. Crocker. Aubrey was a proud 20 year Veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served during the VietNam War. He retired from the Georgia Department of Labor. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins.
Mr. Crocker is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carrie “Peggie” Crocker; children, Robert and Sue Crocker of San Angelo, TX, Linda Jane and Leslie Zaricor of Jackson, TN, Dale and Debbie Crocker of Augusta, GA, Steve and Valerie Crocker of Jackson, GA; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Mr. Aubrey N. Crocker will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Jackson Presbyterian Church with Reverend James Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Homestead Hospice of Jackson, 791 Hwy. 36 East, Unit 103, Jackson, GA 30233 in memory of Mr. Aubrey N. Crocker.
