Obituary of Ralph Almond

ALMOND Mr. Ralph Almond, age 77, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at Westbury Medical Care Home. Ralph was born on Tuesday, April 13, 1937 in Murphy, North Carolina to the late Ollie Almond and the late Della Burch Almond. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Bill and Johnny and his sisters, Juanita, Helen and Cynthia. Ralph was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired contractor and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. Ralph is survived by his wife, Martha Moss Almond; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Bill Heath; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Cindy and John Cook; great-grandsons, Will Cook and Rhett Cook; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Charlotte Almond; special nephews, Barry and Peggy Moody and Darrell Cook; several other nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Ralph Almond will be conducted on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Sandy Creek Cemetery in Flovilla. Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate.
