Bradley Lyn “Lucy” Waits, age 53, of Jackson, GA, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Westbury Medical Care Home. He was born on Wednesday, July 5, 1961 in Griffin, GA to Edna JoAnn Dunn Waits and the late Carl Edward Waits. “Lucy” enjoyed working with his daddy before he became disabled, and he liked to watch the Braves and Falcons.
“Lucy” is survived by his mother, JoAnn Dunn Waits; brothers and sister-in-law, Brian Waits, Byron and Stacy Waits; sister, Carla Waits; nephews, Eli Waits and Zakk Richards; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services for Brad “Lucy” Waits will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ricky Stubbs officiating. Interment will be at Pepperton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Westbury Medical Care Home, 922 McDonough Road, Jackson, GA 30233 or Roosevelt Warm Springs Rehabilitation Institute, 6135 Roosevelt Highway, Warm Springs, GA 31830 in memory of “Lucy”.
