Mr. Thomas Keith "Moby" Biles, age 61, of Lakeview Road, Jackson, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
Mr. Biles was born on Wednesday, November 25, 1953 in Griffin, Georgia to the late Maurice Roam Biles and the late Carolyn Annette Thomas Biles. He is preceded in death by a sister, Cherry Sweatman and a brother, Gary Biles. Keith was a member and past President for the Butts County Jaycees. He was also a member of the Jaycees Rebel Corp and served as district director for the Georgia Jaycees Chapter. Keith was a coach for over 10 years for the recreation department in baseball and soccer. He enjoyed coaching and watching his 4 sons play sports and spending time with his grandchildren. Keith retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Mr. Biles is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Smith Biles; sons and daughters-in-law, Corey and Sherry Biles, Shea and Kristy Biles, Josh and Brittany Biles, Dwayne and Tricia Biles; grandchildren, Kayla, Autumn, Madison, Lisa, Jordan, Leila, Rylei, Camden, Reid and Easton; great-grandchild, Tynleigh; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Keith Rogers; brothers, Carey Biles and Tony Biles; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Minnie Smith; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Keith Biles will be conducted on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ricky Stubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, however those desiring may make a memorial donation to the Butts County Recreation Department, 576 Earnest Biles Drive, Jackson, Georgia 30233 in memory of Keith Biles.
