Mrs. Eudora Montez “Dora” Burford Hart, age 77, of Jenkinsburg, GA, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Brightmoor Hospice. She was born on Wednesday, August 31, 1938 in Jackson, GA to the late James Curtis Burford and the late Nellie Caps Burford. Dora was an avid fisherman and loved her family dearly. She is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Burford, and a sister, Patsy Cronan.
Dora is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles Hart; children and their spouses, James Dennis Hart and Kim, Charles Lennis Hart and Tracie; grandchildren, Melissa Hart, Avery Dennis Hart, Ashley Elaine and Chad Feltman, Jared Charles Hart; great-granddaughter, Kynslie Elaine Feltman; brother, Larry Burford; sisters, Mabel Lloyd and Dorothy Kirby; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Eudora “Dora” Hart will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Steve Henderson and Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening and Sunday one hour prior to the service.
