John Nathaniel “Nathan” Williams, age 48, of Jackson, GA passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Monday, April 7, 1969 in East Point, GA to John Thomas Williams and Wanda Jean Cauthen. Nathan graduated from Johnson High School in Gainesville, GA in 1987. He proudly served in Desert Shield in the United States Army. Nathan was of the Baptist faith. He loved to sing and play the guitar. Nathan loved Boo Boo and Baby Loki, his dogs. He loved bonfires, good friends, and music.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Teresa D. Williams; son, Brian Keith Simmons; grandchildren, Pressley, Cain, and Judd; parents, Tommy Williams and Chris Stafford, and Wanda Cauthen; grandmother, Birdie McClendon Kaveny; sisters, Georgia Gregory and Bubba, and Jennifer Williams; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Nathan Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with military honors. The family will receive friends following the service.
