Obituary of Edna Daniel

Mrs. Mary Edna Caston Kelly Daniel, age 94, of Jackson, GA passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at her residence. Edna was born on Friday, September 28, 1923 to the late James Beauchamp Caston and the late Bonnie Carr Caston. She was known for her kindness. Edna was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church. Faith, family, and friends were very important to her. Edna was an avid gardener and birdwatcher. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl L. Kelly and C.E. Daniel, Sr., and sons, Timothy Caston Kelly and Patrick Daniel Kelly. Edna is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Cary V. Kelly and Norma, C.E. “Chip” Daniel, Jr. and Robin, Joseph M. Daniel and Jeri; grandchildren, Carla Rotundo, Casey Kelly, Cassie Kelly, Joshua Daniel, Niki Funck, Joe Funck, Molly Daniel, and Dennis Hulsey; sister, Angelyn Jones; brother, Donnie Caston. A funeral service for Mrs. Edna Daniel will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rudy Mangham and Chip Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
