Life Legacy
Mr. Clinton Lewis “Clint” Dasher, Jr., age 91, of Jackson, GA passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 surrounded by his family. Clint was born on Thursday, September 23, 1926 in Atlanta, GA to the late Clinton Lewis Dasher, Sr. and the late Zora Ellen Willis Dasher. He was raised in Hinesville, GA in Liberty County. Clint proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Clint loved to fish and read. He was a member of the Exchange Club of the Beaches. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leila Strickland Dasher, and his sister, Betty Joyce Frost.
Mr. Clint Dasher is survived by his children and their spouses, Ruthie & Walter Brown, Jackson GA, Lew & Gwen Dasher, Jacksonville Beach FL, Al & Denise Dasher, Locust Grove GA; grandchildren, Amanda Brown, David Brown, Chris & Liz Dasher, Andrew Dasher, Jason & Amy Dasher, Deanna & Scott Ballew; great-grandchildren, Olivia Ballew, Jack Dasher, Cameron Dasher; brothers and sister-in-law, Vernon Dasher, James & Judi Dasher; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service for Mr. Clint Dasher will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the H. Warren Smith Memorial Cemetery in Jacksonville Beach, FL with Reverend Carmen Johns. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com.
